Message	in this photo, the crank/journal width is noticably thicker on the left rod, versus the right you can also see that red paint has been 'machined' off. this indicates it's been worked over. AND BY GOD THATS WHAT I WAS SAYING... IF THE GODDAMN WIDTH OF THE ROD IS NOW NARROWER, ISN'T THAT BAD? THAT WAS MY INITIAL QUESTION/COMMENT/REMARK. I figure you'd want more area on the face of the crank to distribute loads more evenly onto the crank... but i'm sure you will take the next 5 posts to say the same thing. Thanks. I can see a difference in the thickness. :shrug:.
